Modern plastics don’t seem to fade as badly as they used to. Plus I don’t like that after a hot day, all that dressing ends up on the windscreen. I’ll sometimes put a low sheen on if I’m trying to make it look extra nice but I normally just go natural.

@TorqueSteer
@TorqueSteer 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Matthew. I’m not too sure. If the B7 can be fitted than there won’t be any problem with the B8. I’m using the B7 airbag (and come to think of it, I think the B7 has dual stage airbags and the B6 doesn’t) and all the plugs for the controls are the same. I had to change the steering control module, clock spring and airbag harness too though since my car wasn’t fitted with anything.
@Hellard805
@Hellard805 4 жыл бұрын
@@TorqueSteer thanks for the reply. I was reading a bit up on it last night and it looks like a B7 wheel can be fitted but you would only wire up the high impact airbag. Would also need wiring and some other bits I think. There is a B6 multifunction wheel but it's not very good looking. I have a Mk4 golf that has one and it's annoying in the wife's b6 that there isn't one. Might get round to doing it at some point.
