Can't wait to see the fix. If the seatbelts locked up, means the rocket went off and they need replacing. Most expensive part is gonna be the airbags and seatbelts. You really should replace the driver side belt too just because it stretched in the crash. Might need to replace the airbag module as well. Beautiful car though

@@ianmangham4570 yup, but I've been fixing cars for 20 years and even if one goes off you might need to replace the module and belts. In an accident there's a chemical reaction that locks the seat belts. Once that goes off they are useless in a future crash, hence why most cars get written off even without much damage. Curtain airbags go off couple grand easy. Passenger bag if it's part of the dash, that's a dash replacement.

The check engine light maybe warning you about front right light bcs Mercedes have some type of id number on the light unit some how...if you replace with some aftermarket without the same part number the warning will not go away🤣

Might have already been said but: 1. Check every seatbelt. There's a small explosive that goes off when an impact is detected. If they are locked up, you have to pull every seatbelt affected and either replace them brand new or have the one's you have rebuilt. 2. You'll probably need to pull the body module that controls the airbags and seatbelts to have it reset. You should be able to send it to the same place you have the seatbelts rebuilt at, if you go that route. Otherwise you need to take it to a dealership and have them do it (but only after you have the new airbags and seatbelts installed.) 3. Obviously, to get everything done, you have to disassemble the interior to some degree. If you don't have one, get a cheap set of interior pry tools. Don't use a damned screwdriver on your nice interior plastic pieces. 4. Good luck!

Basically, he likes s classes and its more practical than his CLA. In more detail, he said in a previous video that he had an interest in S class for years, that it has a great tech package, better seats, room for the car seats, it's rear wheel drive and not 4matic (he forgot to explain why that one mattered to him) and ultimately, the great 'buy now' price that was 20000 less than the next available s class with similar mileage. Maybe an SUV would have worked if he planned to flip it, but for now, he plans to hold onto this as long as it lasts, plus they have the jeep.
