Why two pressure washers? I have often thought about running a gas one and an electric one in my van. But not two of the same. Just curious as to why? Thank you

Great setup and equipment, always liked Chevy Astros, just the right size but hard to find one in good condition

I have the same design in my promaster! It’s just a 125 gallon tank, strapped to unistrut that’s screwed into the frame. More unistrut along the ceiling to hold 3 of my hose reels, and a big ass shelf completely left to right about 27 inches deep. I hate the builds with a giant wall or a build that makes servicing it difficult or some builds literally make you more inefficient if they aren’t simple and open, too focused on pretty design is pointless. It’s all about efficiency and serviceability.

I like this set up and have had it similar in a different van for years. I have learned what works and what doesn’t over the past few years and I’m currently working on a new skid set up. These pressure washer reels you see in this video have recently gave out and had built up rust inside the tube part. Im going with all retractable reels. The new skid design will be fully accessible and simple similar to the other skid mounts you see on other videos .

@@realdetail6447 sheeeiiiit as long as you build the new skid yourself you’ll save $1,200!! Post results in a new video whenever you do it!!
@realdetail64472 жыл бұрын
Yeah that’s why I’m building it myself. I’ll have less than $1k in the skid itself. It’s the new reels and equipment that cost a lot!

I have those crappy general pump reels I never got my going. It leaked all over. How do you have yours run a pump or gravity ?
@realdetail64472 жыл бұрын
@@startingtech3900 yes those reels suck, mine rusted inside the tube part and clogged up my guns, I’ve recently purchased new retractable reels. I’m working on a new setup now. I use a pump on each pressure washer even though they say it doesn’t need them on the kranzles

I just got a van like this one. I'm going to start a mobile detailing business. What advice would you give someone who's new to the game of detailing?
@realdetail64472 жыл бұрын
Invest the money you make from the beginning to get to where you want to be. It’s ok if you don’t have a lot the detailing supplies or tools, just start off with the basic cleaners and tools and continue to invest and upgrade. Just focus on producing quality work. And I would say your first number one investment should be the advertising on your van, the van will be your number one advertising piece. make it big and bold enough so people can read and see it from across the street to get your information easy .

Nice setup What size water tank is that. My starter van is an Astro.

Thanks! It’s a 100 gallon. Astro vans are the perfect size for detailing in my opinion.

Metal frame supporting the plywood?? I have a GMC Safari so I’m looking to do a similar build. Just not sure how to Mount it for support
@realdetail64472 жыл бұрын
I actually welded angle iron across to the inner structure of the van and put wood across it. I also recently redid my set up to a skid mount system now so it’s completely different and much more efficient and organized. Check back soon for the new updated version!
