Tout simplement magnifique. J'ai suivi tes instructions pas à pas et je viens de terminer ce colo. Je te remercie tellement pour ce beau partage qui nous permet à toutes de s'améliorer et d'oser marcher sur tes pas.

Beautiful work, the gold is fabulous. The piece of wood is the leg of the chair, the upholstered arm meets a fancy scroll that turns 90 degrees and then curves down and meets the seat of the chair then widens and becomes the leg of the chair. I'm an upholsterer and have done many of these chairs. Yours is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful job, the gold is a perfect touch. I've survived a kitchen remodel in an older house. Many surprises when taking out walls and moving appliances to new locations. You will appreciate it so much when it's finally finished! Love the stories about your animals. I grew up on a cattle ranch and was reminded of the time one of our young bulls managed to break his back in one of those tussles. We ate a lot of hamburger that year.😞 Be kind to yourself! I'm looking forward to seeing Enchanted Forest. You did it! 🎉

Finishing the house is just such a long way off, it's hard to see light at the end of the tunnel sometimes! A bull with a broken back ☹ that must have been quite a scrap!

*hugs* I am sorry things are going higgly piggly for you! I hope they get better soon! When I was remodeling my kitchen and didn't have access I just used my BBQ for everything. It's gas and has a gas burner on the side so made it quite a bit easier. Then again I am in Southern California so while it gets cold it never gets THAT cold. I really feel for you not having a kitchen. It really sucks! I am glad you made the video though! I love your color and chats! The picture turned out great! I would LOVE to see more of this book. I think I will be getting it at some point next year. Watching you do this book has just been too much fun!

I've learned so much about coloring watching your videos. Thank you so much. Good luck with your remodel. I've been through that myself and know how stressful that can be. Hugs to you!

Oh So Lovely ! Great chat n video too! I do enjoy being able to watch with a bit less pressure, but I hope it is not hurting your numbers, If it is, you had best speak up! your so meticulous with your pencils and I envy your patience! Please stay safe over there and remember to keep smiling!

The numbers aren't my concern. I do keep an eye on these things, but it's not my priority. It was lovely to colour in this book and really cheered me up!

I love this book so much and hope I will get it for Christmas or maybe Valentines Day. Because of your decision to make Inktense the medium of choice for this book, I have decided to o the same for one of my Christmas books. The result so far has been a good one. You are such a positive influence for me.

Bit late in watching sorry about that. This is turning out beautiful!! I finally broke down and bought the 6 pack of inktense. I am scared to use them as I may become spoiled to using any other other watercolor pencil. LOL I recently bought Maria Trolle's Flora and decided that it would be the one book I completely color and learn in. I am teaching/reminding myself to play and experiment. You would be proud Gem. 🎄💎💖

I am proud indeed. Aside from the Inktense videos I've done, check out Peta Hewitt's videos if you haven't already. She's a great teacher and her Inktense videos are great.

Also someone with permanent nerve and tendon hand damage after a Swine Flu nightmare in 2014, so I also drop stuff all the time, mucho empathy and sympathy. Cold and damp weather is horrendous for me too. Love where this picture is going.

Gem, I've had 3 surgeries on my right hand, wrist and forearm. I had gotten hurt on the job i had back then. The surgeries were way back in the late 1980s. I have nerve damage and lack strength and it gets tired fast. I have noticed in that few weeks that I am dropping things like, pens, pencils, knives, forks and spoons a lot more than usual. Some of it is due to the cold and damp weather. Some of it is due to just plain old getting older. When I push myself to do more than I should be doing it gets even worse. My husband and I have a joke about my dropping things. I tell him that under no circumstances should he give me the nitroglycerin container to hold onto today. If I should drop it everything will blow sky high. I have learned to joke about it over the years. To take it to seriously would just make me depressed. I do the best I can and some days I don't do much of anything that needs steady hands. Good luck with painting and kitchen remodel. Hang in there and you'll have a working kitchen before you know it. Geraldine is looking good! 🙂

This is really interesting to hear, and I think I’m headed in the same direction with my hand - I also have a sense of humour about it, what else can you do? I really felt it after I did the Lino printing video- my hand and forearm was stiff, sore and tired for days after that. Nitroglycerin 🤣😂 I know I’ll get there, just got to keep truckin’! Thank you for your kind comment.

I thought you was having a baby girl, I have maybe been picking up on the pink paint your mum has chosen for the spare room then. I thought it was the nursery. It's not often I pick things up lately as I'm so ill, but I did have feeling you was having a girl and it wasn't your sister-in-laws little baby girl. Sorry if it was a bit weird. Delicate silver grey paint goes nice with teal too.

I just thought it was strange, especially since I've never talked about it, or mentioned any plans to have children - I thought you were going to tell me I've got fatter 😂. The guest bedroom also has a blue wall, but only one. Stay safe and keep well.
