I used to report things i thought the cops should address, like the sound of gunshots [ i live in the inner city ] muggings etc.......... no longer. The following is a true story. A woman calls the police to report 2 people breaking into her shed. The police dispatcher informs her that there aren't any officers in the area. The nearest officers are 30 minutes away. She hangs up the phone and calls them back a few minutes later. This lady then informs police dispatch that they can take their time, because she has shot them both dead. 5 minutes later, the police arrive at this lady's home to find 2 very alive thieves still breaking into her shed! They were arrested. The police then asked her, "I thought you said that you shot them dead?!?" She responded, "I thought YOU SAID that the closest cars were 30 minutes away?!?" She was also arrested for a fraudulent police call. It pisses me off to no end that when a citizen lies to the police, it is illegal, but when the police lie to the citizens, it is tactical!?!

I've learned that when I'm involved in a traffic accident and I call to have a policeman take the accident report they'll always ask if anybody is hurt. The correct answer is always "I don't know." If you say "no" it'll take them hours to show up. Don't lie, just don't render an opinion that everyone is okay.

I have a general mentality of avoid dealing with police because it almost never works out well, regardless of the circumstances. This is a perfect example. THP is more concerned about a petty and probably unlawful citation that he wastes what may have been valuable moments that could have been the difference between a man and/or his dog getting mauled. They care so little that they choose to go for revenue collector of the year over helping a man in serious trouble. This goes to show that they truly do NOT have an obligation to protect people's lives and that they are perfectly content with not even addressing the call for help. They'd actually prefer to write a ticket and up their brownie points with their superiors over trying to help a citizen and his dog (I am an enormous animal lover, especially my dogs) rather than man up and do some actual police work. I genuinely wish I could say that this surprises me but I cannot. All that really surprised me anymore when it comes to police misconduct is how blatantly and shamelessly they go about it. They were punching me everywhere, they beat me to a pulp,and because I was trying to protect my face and head,when I'd put my hands behind my back they would punch me in the face,or start choking me,one cop was pushing his thumb in my eye while he had me in the headlock,they tased me in my private area, stomped on the back of my legs forcing my kneecaps into the concrete, jumping up and down with their knee's on my back and rib's.. just like gang members do by jumping someone.. when I was in the hospital and both hands handcuffed to the bed the cop's told the doctor to draw my blood for a drug test and I refused,the arresting cop was torturing me while I was restrained pushing my pressure points in my neck under my back chin on my jaw , while his partner was pressing them in my left arm because I wouldn't comply with the blood draw and wouldn't stop yelling at them calling them criminal's and thug's and I was telling the doctors and nurses they beat me up unprovoked,and they attacked me from behind,when the nurse came in because I was screaming and yelling the cop stopped,I asked her to stay for my protection so he couldn't hurt me in front of her, and the cop was berating and humiliating me for needing a woman to protect me, calling me a punk of a man, I told the nurse to look at my arm and neck where they were hurting me with pressure points.. she looked and told the doctor she will stay in the room,I asked her if she sees the mark's ,she glared at them and said she will stay in the room with me,she said she didn't witness it so there's nothing she can do,but it won't happen again while she waits with me..the doctor kept telling the cops he can't withdraw my blood without a warrant and the cop's kept telling the doctor they know I was on drugs because I attacked them without any words and was so strong it took 5 cop's to get me in restraints and they tased me 7 time's..(I was literally fighting for my life)I told the cop's they are dirty pig's and karma will get them one day,and the doctor was telling them I'm perfectly coherent and I wasn't on drugs, maybe they are in his system,but he's not under their influence at this moment,and the cop's kept telling him it will help keep him in jail where violent people belong.. the state charged me for resisting arrest,two different count's of felony assault's, and a bunch of other charges that got dropped if I plead guilty.. I was looking at 8 years in prison if found guilty on all charges.. and one cop said I punched him in the jaw,and his tooth hurt for more than a hour,the other cop said his knee was injured and he couldn't walk right without aid of a cane,or crutches, and will need assistance for the rest of his life.. so I got a bunch of felonies and my life was ruined and I did 11 months in jail ... Now I can't never protect my loved ones or myself with my 2nd amendment right ...So They get no respect,the cop even said a jury would never believe me or my torture story as he was a upstanding officer and I'm a criminal who attacks law enforcement officers and the judge knows him personally.. so I say to everyone who blindly back's the blue.. you are guilty of association . I live in Central Texas in a big apartment complex,one nite a male tenant is acting up,screaming and hollering,so I flag down a passing police cruiser,they stop and turn around,then approach out complex.There's 3 other residents with me,I explain the problem and the cops go and investigate.Also,it's about 10 o'clock at night.After 20 minutes they return,one of the tenants was off his meds-the cops had delt with him before-now he's quiet.The cops stand outside and talk with us for about 10-to-15 minutes,then leave.NOW that's public SERVICE!!!

I was just at the California Department of Motor Vehicle's. The CHP HAD GIVEN A pickup truck driver a ticket for not having a registration tag on the front license plate. The logic by the chp officer was all commercial license plates front and rear were to have the year tags applied. The dmv rolled their eyes and helped the driver find the applicable laws that proved the CHP WAS INCORRECT. I guess reading laws and proper application is beyond their ability.

I was involved in a hit and run and it happened in front of 2 sheriff's when I tried to wave them down to tell them what happened and to let them know the person was right there trying to get away. The "officers" pulled me over, pulled me from my car detained me and searched my vehicle. I had the person license plate number color of the car but wrong make of the vehicle because I wasn't sure they threatened me with trying to make a false police report and giving false information.

Yeah they cited me yrs ago bc I stop to help a lady broke down on the road.....after he watch me push this lady car in a parking lot (keep in mind he never help) and when I got back in my car he gets behind me and hit the lights and told me I had a paper on my dashboard smh

Thank goodness the cops didn't investigate the dog situation. That would have wound up with three dead dogs and the dude beaten into a coma. And you would have still received a ticket.

Good citizen=jail time. NEVER talk to cops. Unless you need them to take a traffic accident report. That is pretty much all they are worth.

This also happen to me, someone was overdosing while driving and crashed into light pole, I ran over to help and called the police. Then a couple days later police called and threaten me with a warrant and jail if I didn’t show up for court. Maybe not the same but my point is, even when your helping your still a target.

I used to support law enforcement without question. I used to think they had a hard job and deserved the public to cut them a little slack.... but as the police forces of this country become more and more corrupt, I've realized most if not all of the good police officers have quit or retired. We are left with a growing cancer of corrupt officers and officials. These police are out of control willing to violate your rights left and right because their oath doesn't mean anything.

I had a guy steal a bunch of stuff from my store so I called the cops, he took down my information and returned 30 minutes later am thinking he caught the guy but no he wasted my ID because it was a month expired I never call them again for a theft. Useless !
