I would have called the police myself and told them I'm being illegaly detained. Gone down the route of getting him prosecuted for taking my liberty and freedom from me (false arrest) which is a very serious crime. A lot of these people don't seem to understand how much trouble they can get into when doing things they know nothing about it. I worked in security so it was made very clear to me the kind of trouble I could get into for making a false arrest. Not only can you get sued for the false arrest along with a prosecution and criminal record but the company you work for can get sued also. There are people in London that go around trying to get themselves arrested like this so they can earn £2k to £4k compensation.
