I love how you do this. You take your time and go strand by strand. I see many people losing patience and it's painful to watch them force combs through tangles. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks sis! Worked so hard to get this length so I try my best to retain it

When I saw you using the comb and brush I was like..."is she using these tools during the no comb challenge?!!!" Lol. I miss detangling using tools. Thanks for the finger detangling tips. I'll put more conditioner next time. I finger detangled yesterday and it wasn't an easy task. It requires patience. Thanks for the video love

Ahahaha! Got you! I washed my hair yesterday and just didn’t have the time for detangling so I did the bare minimum and back in twists. I will finger detangle when I can make the time. I have been wearing the headband wig for almost a month to see how it affects my edges but also to avoid touching my hair. It has worked!

@@CoilyDiaries oh, awesome!!! Thanks for reviewing the headband, I usually fear for my edges. I seriously need to make a headband for myself. Though I am wondering what kind of material to use. I am even thinking of using satin beneath
@CoilyDiaries3 жыл бұрын
@@chipochongo you are welcome. Any silly material will be good. If you decide to use the material throughout, you have to think about how you will keep air flowing through because heat and moist might get trapped and cause more issues 🤷🏽♀️. But great idea!

Thank you for this video. Can we please get your sugar and olive oil mixture video please? What are the benefits of sugar?
@CoilyDiaries3 жыл бұрын
Yes maaam! Video coming up next Monday 🙌🏾! Sugar is beneficial for the scalp for its exfoliating properties due to its granulated texture, not so much in it nutrients. Really helps lift up dirt and cleans the scalp😊

What are your thoughts on wearing a wig with wearing cornrows-for long term protective styling?
@CoilyDiaries3 жыл бұрын
I think it could work but my biggest concern with wigs is neglecting the hair underneath and the rough laces on the perimeter. So I personally prefer the headband wig
