Hey, I collect those pull tabs for the Loins Club here in California. They collect and use the proceeds from their weight to pay for hotel rooms for parents to stay in while their children fight cancer at the McDonald’s hospital. Great cause! ❤️

Contact Ronald McDonald House in your area. They can tell you where to deposit these. I used to give them to a friend whose organization collected the tabs. Now I just drop them in a storage shed at the Ronald McDonald house when I drive by to work.

All the best with finding a gold chain and one day you will find one. Many years ago I found a 20 in. 14 K gold chain at our local lake. I was just snorkelling and it was just on top of the sand. I asked people on the beach who were nearby if anyone had lost it but to no avail. I still wear it but always take it off if going to the beach inc. any rings.

Man you find all the good stuff!👊🏻☕️ I moved from Florida 15 years ago after living there over 30 years. So do like being in the water more than dry sand? I'm thinking I need to get in the water more.. I now have the Nox 900 and the Manticore. I got my beech scoop now.. used it down in South Padre Island for the first time when we went down there for vacation.. man, its freakin heavy carrying that around all day...lol
@DetectFlorida9 күн бұрын
The sand typically holds more targets, but it's almost entirely luck when you find something. When you hunt the water, you can usually tell where the "sweet spots" are that will yield heavier items. There's a lot of times when I should have hunted the dry sand over the water, but that's just the name of the game!

A number of years ago in Hawaii I got hit in the inside of my upper leg by a Portuguese ma o’ war while just wading in the water. It was like a hot poker going through my leg and the sting lasted for a couple of hours. No I didn’t pee on the sting and can’t remember what I did. The most recent study says to wash with vinegar, scrape off any stingers and apply a heat pack 45C or 113F. I could see that someone could die if hit in the chest by the heart or around the neck. It is the tentacles that are the stingers and is really a colony of other organisms called zooids so it is a floating colony of many other organisms that each have a job to do. Stay away from those tentacles so don’t touch or step on them if they are on the beach. I do ultra swims in Hawaii over six miles and sometimes a mile off shore. People ask me aren’t you afraid of the sharks. Sharks aren’t an issue unless it was a Tiger shark which I would not like to meet in the ocean but jellyfish are. Getting hit with a Portuguese Man o war or a box jellyfish could be deadly if hit by the heart or neck especially if swimming alone.

@Heidi666ke9 күн бұрын
@@onlyjesussaves840 no. If it is real it will be on record worldwide. A lot of fakes will be made of 18k gold and real diamonds. They will engrave Cartier on the inside with maybe a serial number to make it look legit. It’s worth a try to get it back to its original owner if it is indeed legit. Great video! Do you need any kind of permit to metal detect on the beaches in Florida?
@DetectFloridaКүн бұрын
It depends on the county. We do have areas in Florida that require metal detecting permits. I'm unsure if there's any beaches that require them, but beach front property owners own up to the mean high tide line, and can ask you to leave if they don't want you digging. There are also areas where you cannot metal detect in the water

Its the 11" coil. I don't post settings, because my settings change depending on where I am and how the machine is behaving. My settings won't necessarily work as well for someone hunting the east coast of Florida. I'm constantly tweaking things, but I primarily run a modified version of the Surf and Seawater program. I run tracking ground balance, an audible threshold, and sensitivity between 15-17
