Great country out that way hey Les. Bit more open to what you would be use to at home. Have to catch up again and maybe join us on a trip to Tibo in the future. Good luck on the next hunt mate....Wal.

It’s beautiful country Wal. Loved every minute of the stay. Finding a bit of gold was a distant second to the atmosphere and the peace and quiet of the place. Will definitely be back there again and would love to catch up with you.

Hi les we met on one of Corey's tours in 2021 hope you have been well and finding a bit of yellow enjoy watching your videos some nice places you visit we are heading to tibbaburra at the end of April I cannot find any sites that show you where you can camp and detect any help would much appreciated are you heading back to wa this year thanks Gary

Hi Gary. Good to hear from you. There is a lot of country to detect up there. Try the two stations. You can detect on them for a daily fee. I have heard that camping conditions may have changed. Just check at one of the pubs or the general store for details. You should not have too much trouble finding some yellow but much of it is quite small.

A bit off topic, but does anyone know what happened to BK Prospecting? Havent seen a video from Brian and his Mrs for quite some time? He did trip to Tibooburra too and did quite well. Really enjoyed his videos.

You are around my neck of the woods when i was young. If you get tired of small gold there is sizeable garnet not far from there. Im leaving for Lal victoria on wednesday. Have fun

Thanks Famo. The gold found that day was a better size than the average. I think I would need a better phone to photograph some of the smaller pieces. Gee it’s small.

@@lesgold2132 Hey Les, how much is the detector and camping fees these days for Mt Stuart? How do I find a map of the area one can prospect on and around Mt Stuart? Lovely country, I'm thinking of making the trip out, thanks for sharing
@lesgold21322 жыл бұрын
@@uncobazz3848 Hi Bazz. Camping fee was $5 per person per night and detecting was $15 per day. (From memory) Have a look at Doug Stones NSW gold map for details. Good luck
