Next time you're down, try Possum Kingdom Lake. It's about 100 miles from dfw and a very well know lake and state park. Lake Amistad in south Texas is good too. Very well known to produce some huge fish.

good man happy 4 u I kind of cheated on my first bass but it was well over 10 but it was a bass that would stay around the dock and we would catch him every day and we would feed the shiners and he stayed around. but the problem was that it was hard keeping the shiner away from the littler bass
