I heard David Cage wanted to be a film maker but he sucked at it so he made interactive movie games. Then there’s gamers are like “this is so innovative”yet anyone who played an old PC adventure would know there’s nothing innovative about it.

I bought this the other night and beat it in about 10 hours. I went for the worst possible ending and unfortunately killed Hank but at least I got to take out the violent androids.

I don't think the widespread mistreatment of Androids would happen in real life. Just look at how much everybody loves that cute little Mars rover and cheered it on from a distance, even though it was a little remote control robot. My personal favorite joke about Detroit become human is to make plays on the title. Detroit become nihilism. Detroit become misanthrope. Detroit become obvious social commentary. And more!

The most unbelievable thing about this game is that there are white people in Detroit. It's immersion breaking.

This game was chock full of unintentional hilarity. Robbing a bum for his clothes, running into a robot crackhead, Conor's whole fucking arc, the brazillian fuckboy other MC, everything. I was laughing most of the way through.

A David Cage game where you play as a wanted criminal running from the law despite being innocent, and the detective chasing him who begins questioning the motivation behind his pursuit? Does this guy just get off on remaking Indigo Prophecy or is he just convinced that if he does it enough we'll eventually be forced to like it?

I knew Razor couldn't resist another opportunity to fellate Omikron in this video. I still vividly remember gaming magazines of the time panning the game for being 'overambitious', which was indeed a concept even back then. Instant loss timers, the same horseshit puzzles you find in most 90s adventure games, dodgy switches that require you to be within ten microns of the correct pixel, and a plot that seems to sequence break -itself- are all awful features regardless of whether a sweaty canadian is at the helm
