@@TheRageaholic not sure if you saw the Dragon Quest interview lately with the director complaining about western esg being forcefully shoved into their game in the form of type 1 and 2 "genders". Blackrock does business with everyone to control them. Its simple as that. They have already succeeded in subverting many Japanese game devs; China has enough wealth of their own to refuse but even then, they are forced to tolerate woke BS when dealing with the west like with Tencent when owning part of Larian. Chinese communism is completely different from western liberal communism and after the Maoist era, China has pivoted back to traditional values. Even then Mao was extremely nationalistic. It couldnt be more different from the west and thus China could never have come up with any of this esg ideology.
