This was one of the most insightful interview I've ever seen. Eartha Kitt was so candid and articulated her past and pain so brilliantly. I'm from S.Carolina and I know what the women had to endure (unnecessary abuse). She is a prime example that you can rise out of the ashes and be a productive citizen. I did some research and found that this interview was conducted in 1978. Eartha Kitt was an amazing human being.
@arleneholder90326 жыл бұрын
Eartha was a force of Nature, because of her early abuse, it made her a tough soul. The beauty is that despite her harsh upbringing it never hardened her heart. She was a beautiful soul inside and out. Its like her ancestors, African and Native American reached out and covered and protect her. She was in tune with her inner being. She was like a Shaman. She was unbreakable, she gave her voice when it was not popular. Her wisdom proved she was a visionary before her time, think the Vietnam war. She was and always will be a Star in every sense of the word. My only wish was that she had found that great love or romance for her lifetime. She deserved it but we all will always love her. Fans like us will always give her the love she always wanted.

@coreycox23455 жыл бұрын
@@GhettoRanger01 Somebody had to yell at Ladybird about the Vietnam war and get media coverage. Two things. And then she was entertaining and a beautiful, honest woman. I think she was tied for the best Catwoman. I like her thinking on taxes. That is at least five things.

this interview with eartha kitt is so relevant today as much as it was back then. she hit so many nails on the head. this interview shed light on her views and thoughts from an honest perspective. i could feel her sincerity deep. the poor is still just as poor as they were back then. the government still believe their way is right and some parents still don’t understand that their role in their children’s lives is the most important and the most valuable. it takes a village but if there’s no foundation things will simply fall apart. further more if there is something the child wishes to attain in their life they should go for it regardless. there were many good points in this interview. this woman deserves more than she gets that’s why i love old footage like this.

Eartha Kitt IS A DOLL! Love her hair here AND her skin is flawless. Just glowing. EARTHA s a fitting name for her because she is divinely earthy. RIP LITTLE earth mother. Shalom. Wow. Just heard her say she watched Paul Robeson as folk threw stones at him. What an outrage. Reminds me of B.B. King telling a talk show host that he often kept his eyes closed when he sang and played because whites who came to his concerts when he was younger threw glass bottles and other dangerous objects at him while he was performing so he became accustomed to closing his eyes to protect himself. WOW! What a shameful piece of Americana. Thuggery like this is why AMERICA is the anagram: I AM RACE. So it is.
