This was one of the most insightful interview I've ever seen. Eartha Kitt was so candid and articulated her past and pain so brilliantly. I'm from S.Carolina and I know what the women had to endure (unnecessary abuse). She is a prime example that you can rise out of the ashes and be a productive citizen. I did some research and found that this interview was conducted in 1978. Eartha Kitt was an amazing human being.

Eartha was a force of Nature, because of her early abuse, it made her a tough soul. The beauty is that despite her harsh upbringing it never hardened her heart. She was a beautiful soul inside and out. Its like her ancestors, African and Native American reached out and covered and protect her. She was in tune with her inner being. She was like a Shaman. She was unbreakable, she gave her voice when it was not popular. Her wisdom proved she was a visionary before her time, think the Vietnam war. She was and always will be a Star in every sense of the word. My only wish was that she had found that great love or romance for her lifetime. She deserved it but we all will always love her. Fans like us will always give her the love she always wanted.

I didn't know Eartha Kitt was such a wise human being. The working class in America has become more impoverished since this interview took place because the wealthiest 1% (corporate America) control the U.S. federal government. The working class is enslaved to the wealthy, as Eartha Kitt mentioned during this interview.

I simply did not realize that Eartha Kitt was such a marvelous, sensitive, and wonderful woman. She deserved much better than what she got. I feel so bad that I did not see the beauty in this woman when she was alive. RIP dear lady...............

Wow 😳 this lady was incredible. I was born in 64, so all I really know Ms. Kitt as is Cat Women. Moving forward for two weeks I’ve been listening & learning to her. Nothing but a Class Act with beauty and love for mankind.

For having gone through so much, both personally and professionally. She was still able to encourage, and stand firm on her beliefs. While smiling. R.I.P. Eartha, 🙏🏾
