Best video on KZbin for valve adjustment.In place if eying valve overlap one can use a dial indicator to be more precise.Also never do all valves in the same cylinder until you cycled it forward all the way through the procedure.

I have an 1994 international with a Detroit 60 series engine. Is it possible to run this engine outside the truck body? The ECM is mounted on the driver side block. Is there instructions providing electrical connections for this engine to run once removed from the truck?

Yes, it is possible to run the engine outside of the truck body. At our school we removed several series 60 engines and set them up on run stands. We removed the wiring harness for the truck and used the factory wiring diagram to determine what electrical connections were what. If you don't have the truck wiring harness you could still set it up to run by using your own wires to connect to the right location according to the wiring diagram.
