It’s not bogus, he stopped the receiver from turning back to the ball, but I was shocked that they made that call against Detroit, in Detroit.

Nah the bears clowns for not calling a timeout tho 😂
@justinlaw26706 күн бұрын
This is what I said yesterday. Forget that horrible clock management at the end for the bears, THEY SHOULDN'T OF HAD THE BALL ANYWAY!! That was nowhere close to PI. Should have been lions ball game over.
@EricSowderDTW246 күн бұрын
They also missed so many delayed game and false starts but nothing as bad as bears messed up that final play!😂😂😂 even Joe Biden would knew to call a time out!

I was saying the same thing during the game and my aunt and everyone were like whatever. Whatevrr? That should've been game over.

As it happened live they failed to show the play twice. They failed to show it directly after the play when they were showing the entire play and then when they broke it down and were zeroing in on it they cut it off. We never got a clear look at it after the play unless you were actually watching it happen it live... Clearly a bogus call when I initially seen it.

At times, Chicago had 15 men on the field. Four of them were wearing stripes!

I agree--no pi! Bad call.

I yelled false start on this as well. Typically the average person can't even see it. This was so obvious my 14 yo son who barely knows football said "they moved early didn't they?" There were some embarrassing calls by the refs today, but this was by far the most egregious. I mean they even CAME TOGETHER TO DISCUSS IT!!! And still got it wrong 😂😂😂 he could've tackled that dude and it shouldn't have mattered. That ball was 15 yards off target. It was a complete miscommunication.

Think that was bogus, the Jack Campbell illegal contact penalty was worse...
@grumpypoof96486 күн бұрын
There was some BS both ways. The horse collar on the Bears was terrible and the roughing the passer on Goff was ridiculous. And I'm a Lions fan.

I never paid that much attention to football, but holy crap i was there till the end with this game and it had me stressing.

Lots of missed calls today. There was also a delay of game on Chicago that should have been called earlier but instead Detroit got called for a 5 yard penalty during that play.
@tearl425 күн бұрын
I 100% agree with what your saying. There were calls (or missed calls) in that game that we next level bullshit, but we gotta move on. Next game is alrdy on deck and it’s not going to be easy with the number of injuries we have. Fuck the refs! Let’s go for number 12! 🔥🔥🔥

It's more about trying keep the game close than helping a specific team. Anyway as a Bears fan I'm happy we didn't win with a bogus PI call like that. That's the Rodgers/Packers era style 😂

This officiating crew were bigger turkeys than anyone had on their table last night. Horrible calls and missed calls both ways through the entire game.
@robertschindehette17185 күн бұрын
I'm a Lions fan but I did see a replay shot you didn't show that seemed to justify that flag even though Caleb was basically throwing it away and the interference didn't really affect the route noticeably. I agree that the officiating was less than stellar on both sides. Thank God we got a win out of this though we might have used up one of our 9 lives. Happy Thanksgiving. Go Lions.
@scottmctaggart81715 күн бұрын
earlier in the game the refs missed a delay of game against the Bears. The clock ran down an extra second then they snapped the ball and no call for delay of game.
@rdluv2golf5 күн бұрын
I would feel less like the fix is on if the networks would play the whole replay. CBS cut off of the replay, so there is no evidence of any PI shown. Rodrigo's breakup earlier was replayed a couple of different times, and rules analysis was asked about it(ball underthrown and no contact), and he says refs missed it.
@rdluv2golf5 күн бұрын
To piggyback on my comment, bears first TD had an obvious hold around the neck, and not one mention of it during the numerous replays.
@NunyaDamBusiness696 күн бұрын
I'm a lions fan and that had to be the worst game of football I've seen this year across the board from the Lions to the bears and the refs.

Crazy they got bailed out by this call and couldnt score
@Rob-dp3vr6 күн бұрын
That play is an example of one that reinforces my belief that the NFL is crooked. Whether it was for viewership, covering the spread, whatever. It was just BS. The refs ignore an obvious false start and offensive holding on the play, but flag incidental contact on a ball the receiver had no chance to catch. To erase a 4th and long deficit.

What is the accountability for ref accountability? Players get penalties/fines/etc. Refs? Who knows.
