How is the bucs a better offense than the rams? When did 20 points given up become terrible defense? Shits getting crazy😂
@stat_mike9720Ай бұрын
Jalen McMillan is the bucs third WR. Watch out for WR screens. Kupp went through us like knife thru hot butter. Frisco did last year too in the Championship game. Tackling on the outside is an issue for us.

Going against these receivers would challenge any defense. My suggestion would be tsking a page out of the Bills playbook last night: keep everything in front of you and pressure the living daylights out of Mayfield. He'll crack.

I agree with everything you said in this video David. I need our Defense to really turn things around against the Buccs... VERY VERY QUICKLY!!!! AG needs to make proper second half Defensive Adjustments IF NEEDED.... If not, Were going to get our Butts kicked!!!!! I swear if Mike Evans or Chris Godwin both get 100 yds each on our defense... WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!!

Glad to see the hat back. I'm hoping the rust is shaken off the defense and we can slow down Evans and Godwin!!

I don't like the zone defense strategy on passing downs. It's giving away the first downs.

We'll be fine. Glenn is slow to adjust. I wish MCDC would jump in and handle things at times. The Rams could not throw deep. Not enough time. I was SCREAMING to cover Kupp right off the line but they were giving him cushion. Baker is not Stafford. The Lions are not the Commanders.

This is an example of why I don’t watch as many videos now. The title doesn’t even make sense, at least to me. We played against cooper Kupp, puka necua, and Matthew Stafford. Both teams were playoff teams. It’s week one and everyone is rusty. Someone correct me if im wrong, but some of these hot take titles have been a turn off for me.

WE BEAT THE BUCS TWICE LAST YEAR! WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?? I DON'T SEE ONE. IT'S NOT THAT SERIOUS OR DEEP! GO LIONS!!!

I swear this guy turned into more of a goff fan than an actual lions fan 😂 Defense was not bad at all. Multiple rookie dbs and a new vet starter in with no reps yet and they gave up only 20 points but lets hit the panic button week 1 on the defense and even though goff did nothing but lets never speak an ill word about him! Gtfoh😂

@@dereckdunckel first of all I was a Lions fan long before Goff got here and will continue to be long after he is gone. Second, I didn’t give Goff any praise I said specifically that Goff neither played a good or bad game just that it was ok. Third, this is the part I can’t seem to understand from fans, when they say that the defense wasn’t bad. Did the defense statistically do bad? No, considering the fact that Stafford got all the yards on a crap ton of throws and Kupp his on a ton of catches and targets. But that isn’t the point, I never once made my issue about the stats because the issue never was about stats. The issue was that our defense was significantly more talented in terms of overall personnel going into that game, and then as the Rams injuries kept piling up the overall performance didn’t change. That is my issue and has always been the issue I don’t give one iota about the score or the yards Stafford or Kupp put up. My issue as I have stated more times than I care to recall is how in the thunder when a Rams offense is literally hanging on by a thread from a personnel standpoint and we can’t literally squash them? Literally all the Rams had on offense to end that game was Stafford and Kupp and they still took us down to the wire. So tell me knowing that how people should be able to say the defense didn’t play bad when we were in essence playing against a literal handful of starters and most back-ups and some third stringers for half the game???
@dereckdunckelАй бұрын
@@MotorCityFanMania ok so the defense wasn't bad statistically but they were somehow bad in your eyes. Let's dive a little bit deeper here folks. Let's go through a list of reasons why you are completely overreacting. First and foremost rams oline might have been beat up but Sean mcvay (one of the best offensive minds in football)knew he was going to be shorthanded and had weeks to prepare ahead of the match up to come up with a game plan. The plan and execution was next level and they still only scored 20 points and yes statistics do matter. Hell you're Mr statistics most of the time, especially when it comes to making your case why goff is so great which is why I made the initial comment. Stats matter for him but not the defense all of a sudden. Secondly they have 5 starters newly acquired or in new positions on defense and most barely played any live snaps in the preseason and the only ones that did were rookies. Match them up against stafford kupp and mcvay throwing an average of 3 yard passes and you wonder why the pass rush couldn't get home or our rookie corner can't stop kupp and stafford from connecting at or near the line of scrimmage. I think it's a major overreaction. Stafford has a cannon, kupp can't be stopped from catching the ball at the line of scrimmage and mcvay put on a masterclass at protecting his lineman. They could have played better but the Defense will get better with more reps and I don't think they played bad at all, honestly it was the offense that disappointed. If o would have sustained more drives defense wouldn't have even gave up 20 points. Be patient and let them grow together but after week 1 they only gave up dink and dunk passes and got the w so I think it's far too early to bash them over a performance like that. It was on par with your assessment of goff (not good not bad) they will get better, give them a chance

Looks like Jamo Williams won't be playing this weekend. Guess it's St Brown's turn to shine.
