Who are these guys saying Jaden Ivey is the weakest defensive link?!!! Like, Jaden is the best defender in the starting lineup disrupting the opposing guard constantly, getting deflections, and even blocks on second effort plays, smh… some of these guys need to just stick to football talk… Rod Beard made a great point to Brandon to speak with JB in an interview and ask about what it means for Duren to attempt to play that defensive anchor role within this scheme. Duren is not built as a rim protector but will make his greatest defensive impact NOT fouling and rebounding the hell out of the ball. If Nikola Jokic can figure it out so can Duren, but the Pistons have to insulate him and that will be Ausar for sure.

I don't understand what yall thought you were gonna get fron Tobias. 14 and 7 and hasn't hit 3s. He starts hitting 3s and it's like 17 a game. What are we talking about he's supposed to be the 2nd option but yall wanna say ivey is borderline top 50? He's been a modern 4 that's been decent at everything but hitting3s.

Rod sounds like an optimist. Can’t argue with success. Even the losses are competitive. When Tobias isn’t Tobias who is he? Future coach or front office = “Magic Beans” Jalen Duren is still learning who he is, and developing his defensive skills set. Ivey will be top 50 by the end of the season.

Tobias is not under performing. The whole point for the front office bringing in the vets they did was to move the young guys along in their development. The problem is I don't think a lot of people saw Jaden Ivey coming that's including in piston nation. With Beasley consistency and Ivey becoming a force we don't need Tobias to be a guy just need him to continue to help the young guys and you got a appreciate that when you think about the teams we put out on the court the past few years
