I'm always surprised that the cars are so nice and don't match the houses. Where are all the rust buckets like 20 years ago? Why do these run down houses all have $30,000 cars on the street?

Priorities all messed up up, $50,000 car while living on section 8 and every type of government assistance, they are lost
@Tony-mq5yo4 ай бұрын
Because property taxes and mortgage is more like $75 a month. For this reason they can make car payment easily. In California people live pay check to paycheck while making 6 figures. I hope this helps you understand what is happening

It's really sad how such nice homes have fallen into such a state of disrepair, some of them beyond repair. The government should be investing in the restoration of those once beautiful homes instead of throwing money down the drain on other ridiculous pursuits.

Is it Dangerous for a tourist?
@Lush-s6k4 ай бұрын
@@mimmop7224 I wouldn't really say dangerous because alot cities in each state definitely have high crime but it depends on the area you go to like maybe the outskirts of Detroit and down town is nice but i really would be careful going to certain gas stations and stores during the day and especially at night now to avoid being robbed and even killed and car jacked because this city is really known for these things its very common so I would be careful and i wouldn't be driving through here at night if you're not familiar with the areas.

Hearing the sounds of rap music blasting in the background is like the ultimate sign the people in the hood are cool with living like this. It's like walking down the hallways of a hospital in a cancer ward and someone's blasting rap music like everything is cool and okay.

And the US already owes about 35 trillion USD - who wants to lend even more money on such a country? (.. responsablity asks.)
