How to Change Lower Unit Gear Oil On Yamaha 115 Outboard

After reading the Yamaha manual it says to tilt the motor to drain all the oil. The position you showed would allow used oil to remain.

Do you have to use Yamaha gear oil or any 80-90w? Thanks

Yes, as long as it meets the specification in the owner's manual. However, it's best to use marine gear oil that's specifically made for your lower unit.

Can you do more 115 videos ? Like greasing prop shaft. Maybe fogging / winterizing Spark plugs Etc Please.

I will be doing some more Yamaha 115 videos in the future! Probably wont have to make one on winterizing since we live in Florida but I do have a few others lined up soon!
