ADR is better than fusion, its the surgeon not doing their job property if the discs have moved out or popped out. ADR is way more advanced then stupid fusion, Fusion after 5 years or so will cause the top and lower discs and joints to degenerate. Thats why you need an experienced surgeon that knows what they are doing to put the ADR, regards this laser treatment, I will do some research

Well the Artificial Disc will need perhaps some redesign so that it does not pop out. I believe it should be an easy modification. You know before we just do guess work and design a artificial disc we should test it in a lab, computer models. I worked on many structural components for the Boeing Company doing Vibration loada and other computer models. I suggest the Medical community go outside their walls , and go find consultants that could give you a perfect solution. There are lots of smart people who are real good structural Engineers. I really don't like fusion method , unless if you can modify the fusion to give it a range of motion. One must do a detailed Biomechanics study on computers first, address issues like fracture, fatigue, Vibration, mechanical shock or impulse analysis, followed by testing. I believe it is almost Kindergarden for a person who knows ones subject.

Maybe the surgeon did not put it in correctly, these are very rare incidents but their are cases around the world of surgeons not correctly putting them in correctly due to lack of understanding and experience as its a new treatment.They are screwed in and the bone fuses together after a month or so to permanently hold it. They cant just pop out unless 1, the surgeon was incompetent or the patient did some heavy lifting or had another accident.

It's not that rare. Apparently, they don't have a "template" or "jig" to ensure centering I assumed, leaving it up to the surgeons skill. Let me tell you something people I lived in Europe and the doctor that created it is Dr. Ziegler out of the Netherlands 15 years. He used it in Europe with a less than 1% slip rate. In year 2000 they brought it over to America 10 to 12 hospitals we’re in this trial. Loma Linda in California, the Texas back institute in Plano. We’re only two of them. Dr. Ziegler taught these men surgeons how to do his life’s legacy. With a less than one percent slip right. You just need to find someone who actually was in the trials back in the year 2000 to get your real doctor. Don’t listen to this doctor. Tell you a bunch of BS, that is simply not true! Thank you and for 1,000,000% Dr. Ziegler was my doctor in Germany. If you get a bad intervertebral disc, it’s because you have a bad doctor go to the best to get the best. Ask questions ask questions don’t just say yes ask the major question, how many surgeries have you done and what are your slip rates. I suggest if you’re in Texas or able to get to Texas the Texas back institute is one of the best hospitals for inner brailed discs thank you.

This guy has no idea what he’s talking about - a spine fusion is a big compromise on the spine. it mask the issue with what your facing with a bad degenerative disc or damaged i got a prodics L ;displacement in Germany by Dr Bertagnoli . He is one the best spine doctor in the world . The dis replacement preserve the motion of the spine which is normal and natural. A fusion makes you disable. You have poor mobility in your spine and all your joints hurts tremendously. I have a fused l5 and s1 lumbar fusion but I’m going for another artificial displacement on my l5 and s1 by Dr rischkee . I had a l5 and s1 fusion now 15 years .my life had been cripple all my joint cracks and hurts . Thats how bad spine fusion is . I’m so greatful I get to fix my spine soon by Dr rischke 🙏

This is fantastically poor - "Look these artificial discs have already migrated" *shows a corresponding x-ray of the ACDF cages (which he bigged up prior)*. There are merits and pitfalls to all of the different surgical and nonsurgical interventions, each patient should have them discussed and then presented with the options to choose from. By dismissing different approaches shows that you do not have patient outcomes as your main reason for treatment.
@aradeukmedjian59577 ай бұрын
Deuk Spine Institute offers and has performed all types of spine surgery. We dont recommend all types of spine surgery because many treatments frankly dont work as intended or the complications can be severe for the patient. The best and safest surgery for the spine is the Deuk Laser Disk Repair. Artificial discs are dangerous and have a high failure and complication rate. People have a right to know the truth.

I would assume migration like this is caused by the patient over doing things far too early and not allowing the bone and implants to bone and fuse correctly? I would love to not have any back pain anymore, but my surgeons have said I’m not viable for disc replacement or fusing. So it’s just trial and error with my SCS and trying to manage the pain and “pacing”
@aradeukmedjian5957 Жыл бұрын
Look into deuk laser disc repair, it can cure your back pain. The failures are because your body was not meant to have a metal implant in your spine and they fail for many reasons but most often it is their design or poor surgical technique. There are newer better treatments.

If the disc is to thin and your getting pain bone on bone and or nerve compression then laser won't work, u must replace the disc with an ADR. Laser works if your disc height is still ok-good and you have a herniation that's pressing on the spinal cord or nerve roots near by.

I’ve been told they look great imaging wise, but almost every patient has pain?
@Raj-ul9my2 жыл бұрын
They are a good treatment. Always take the disc replacement then a fusion, also check out what type they use as their is some truth that some do disconnect but some don't such as Prestige LP which is good, but the best discs are in Germany. Mobi -C has problems as it can give you to much motion but plz avoid a fusion, why u want to fuse the neck? its old school and they will put screws and rods and a cage in your dam neck. Too much hardware in your neck. ADR is just replacing the root cause which in this case is a disc.

This is terrible - fear mongering. He's using one example to make a sales pitch. Not all patients are the same - there are patients who smoke and drink excessively, which ruins the healing process. There are lots of factors to consider - but usually the success rate for TDR is very good.

@ewillisaz I watch every one, and I know for a fact all those guys (even though they are pioneers in America) are far less experienced than the Germans. Even Dr Zigler was overwhelmed by the experience of the Germans when he was invited to speak over seas. Your talking about guys that have individually placed around 5k or more discs. They don't even do the approaches in America they use an access surgeon lol.. M6 definitely does have a fair amount of failures (mesh fibers design), but not ESP. You can read about it on ncbi. Tested to ISO standards in America, 40 million cycles. What kind of discs do you have that failed?

I have been personally doing cervical and lumbar disc replacement for the last 15-20 years. It works wonderfully well in more than 95% of the patients provided your indications are right and your technique is good and the type of implant chosen is of good quality; you seem to be sensationalizing the disc complications. The one complication you have shown in the cervical spine is not even cervical disc replacement. That is an interbody titanium cage used for fusion that has been used wrongly by a surgeon without putting a plate; you know it very well if you are really a spine surgeon, really, so please stop sensationalizing just to get more reviews and more patients. I am getting a little harsh, but this is the reality. Thank you.

You have been doing artificial disc surgery for 15 years. I have been doing TDR for 27years, almost twice as long and over 3,000 surgical cases of disc removal and replacement. In those 3,000 surgeries I have replaced over 8,000 discs. TDR is outdated, dangerous and has serious complications that cause permanent harm to patients. You are promoting a dangerous and unnecessary treatment
