Bought this one today after 3 hours of trying backpacks in this pricerange. It has everything i wanted and will ever need in a backpack. My first small bag from deuter i use nearly every day is now 15 Years old and still perfect. Hope this one will last even longer.

I have it on some hikings- weight around 14kg. I take this deuter because i hae Alpine Guide 35+ which is more comfortable to carry. Hip belt on Futura 50+10 doesnt stay in place. Must be pushed down with hands all the time. Also all belts looks small. I have also Quechua backapck 50l. Zippers and design are very good- also hip belt stays in place.

Thanks for the video. The top seems to be removable right? I'm searching for a backpack with a removable top to hook it in front of me and put my dslr inside with 2 lenses (easiest access). Do you think it's possible (with S shaped carabiners I think)? I don't know why nobody does this but it's a great idea ^^
@Enwild6 жыл бұрын
The top lid is removable but attachment points on the shoulder straps of the Futura Vario 50+10 are limited. Give it a shot and let us know what you come up with!

deuter aircontact lite 50 + 10 vs futura vario 50 + 10, who's the best?thanks
@Enwild5 жыл бұрын
There really isn't a "best". The Futura Vario should carry heavier loads more comfortably, but weighs 11.2 oz more. It also comes with a raincover. Both packs have similar padding, but the suspension systems, hip belts and ventilation setups are a tad different. Thanks for watching!

i am having an issue with the frame hitting my head when i look up... is tbis a case in yours too?... how do i fix this?... THANKS...
@Enwild5 жыл бұрын
Hey Kempachi, good question! Is your head hitting the frame or the lid of the pack? If it's hitting the frame, then the pack may be a bit too long for you. If your head's hitting the lid, the problem may be solved by packing differently (so your load stays lower) or carrying less gear. Thanks for watching!

@@Enwild Thanks for the reply, its the frame... at the moment im setting the shooulder straps a bit higher... just wanted to know if theres a workaround regarding this... thought theres a setting inside above the bladder connection beneath the velcro straps... THANKS anyway...
@Enwild5 жыл бұрын
@@kempachizaraki1854 Gotcha, so the pack being overloaded doesn't seem like the issue. I see this model has a torso range of 15"-22". Have you tried measuring your torso again and making sure the pack is set to the correct length?

how much weight can the pack support? I usually go trekking with 12-13 kg.
@Enwild3 жыл бұрын
Deuter does not publish maximum weight capacity for their packs, most 60 liter packs can support at least 30-40 lbs, so it would certainly accommodate your typical carry weight!

How can i check the originality of deuter backpack? Can i use the serial number inside the pack or art number on the tag? If it's possible can you tell me how ?
@Enwild6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question. It really depends on the specific pack and year model. We'd suggest contacting Deuter directly: www.deuterusa.com/

Hi and thanks for watching! The pack is not fully waterproof, however, you could add a raincover to ensure your pack will stay dry if caught in a storm! Happy trails

You might check out the AirContact Lite series: www.backcountryedge.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=deuter+aircontact We'll have some video demonstrations of those coming soon.
@Plagues855 жыл бұрын
The hip belt and lumbar support are very poorly engineered. This backpack is not capable to transfer the load properly and even if you tighten the hip belt very strong, the pack still stays lower than it should and it's not comfortable at all. Otherwise it's great backpack but it's pretty useless until they fix the problem.

Hi, how does this pack compare to the atmos 50?
@Enwild6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for asking. The Atmos 50 is a much different pack and carry system than the Deuter Futura Vario. There are more entry points into the pack with the Futura Vario. The Atmos is well suited for hiking in hot and humid conditions because it has a ventilated back system.
