Or is it the people that at one time became a Christian on our stand in the church and are getting deceived by false prophets and believing in a different Jesus but they don't know it

I'm confused because I don't know what an apostasy person is and you say if you make your confession of belief in Jesus Christ and following believe but walk away from that as I have found the churches are teaching a different Jesus and I feel I'm learning a real Jesus and the church is teaching false prophet so I did walk away from theology of the church which now I believe is false teaching

check out the Westminster confession of Faith the chapter on Perseverance of the Saints. it gives the scriptural proofs as well and sheds more light surrounding this doctrine about apostasy
