I have no idea if this is a theme in the film, but in seeking to worship their creator - wouldn't robots (AI) end up worshipping us? I guess there is space for further thematic exploration in the AI wanting to worship the creator of their creator (a la Marcion rejecting the Jewish God, yadda, yadda)?

This movie sucked. I think it was only 40 years in the future. But the tech made no sense. Pre industrial rice farming robots is silly. The Americans drop in on this super secret mission "deep behind enemy lines" and they have flashlights instead of nightvision. Also the missles fall out of the sky when nomad is destroyed, modern missiles don't have that problem. Also how did they get those giant tanks in there with no one noticing?

I am so glad you are both reasonable human beings who could call a spade a spade, this movie was dog shit. It was so dumb and poorly written and I walked out like 20 minutes before it ended. I could not for the life of me remember the main characters names, and John David Washington is officially a terrible actor 😂.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed it but for my part i was just amused at how much this resembled a propaganda film for "pro-AI" sensibilities. Definitely wasnt because it was a quality story 😂
