I want a devacut i just have to save up for it! lol I always find other things to do with that money instead. But it does seem like the cut would be worth it! I totally have the same growth pattern too, my hair grows SUPER fast in the center and wayyyy slower on the edges #soannoying

I've had a devacut for years and don't have any regrets. It's the best decision I've made for my hair. I get my hair reshape every six months. I wear wash and goes 90 percent of the time except for when I get he occasional braids in my hair for vacation. I can always tell when I'm due for a reshape when my hair doesn't fall right. Your hair looks great since you've gotten he deva cut, to me your wash and goes look fuller.

That's what I love about their style of cutting. Very little is cut off to achieve the shape and my hair in my profile pic has grown so much since then. I've been getting them for almost 2 years now and my hair is in the best health and shape

I feel you about having the top and front of your hair grow and stretch longer than the sides. I have cut so much off the top, I could have been waist length, but my sides and back struggling at all, lol. That is not cute!

I thought I was doing something wrong with the rest of my hair! Any suggestions on what to do about the sides growing slower and retaining length?

NYCDoll217 I don't have any suggestion. part of my problem is I'm multitexture, my sides and back are type 4 coily and the top and front is type 3 curly wavy. all I can do is cut the top while I wait for the rest to grow. even now, I have 12-13 inches on top and just finally got to 9-10 inches sides and back after 4 years. I've cut about 4-6 inches off the top every year after year 2 and trim/dust the rest. it's my struggle.

I plan to do it once a year! I love it! Its only beneficial if you wear your hair curly most of the time... idk how it will look if you would straighten it... but i dont straighten mine so i dont see it as a con..

I've blown out my hair a few times since I've gotten a devacut and it looked fine to me. But I think it also depends on the shape of your devacut. When I wore my hair straight it was never pin straight. I always had textureto it like pin curls
