I loved Croatia when I had a holiday there in May 1989 it was fabulous place to stay, I was 6 months pregnant with my 1st baby., we had a lovely hotel it was as cheap as chips, we couldn’t spend money there fast enough as the local currency was dropping each day., an ice cream was 5pence I think I can remember., we hired a local guy to drive us all around the best areas for sight seeing, very friendly back then too, and took us to the local eateries where the locals hung out to eat it was the best holiday. Guys I really like the new Kon-Tiki and I'm close to ordering the 884 here in New Zealand but I just noticed in the toilet there are 3 floor levels, 2 small steps in front of the toilet but hardly big enough to stand on and a possible hazard when you step back from the basin, especially for guests who are not used to it. Wondering if your 874 is the same, if so, would love to hear your thoughts and experience with this. It seems like a design stuff up to me in an otherwise beautiful van.

Hi John. It seems like an age since I drove the van last and I can’t remember what MPG we were getting, but I’m pretty sure I answered it in a question on here, so if that’s what you read, that’s what I put. I know we were getting around 8mpg in the American RV and it’s a darn sight more economical than that. We should be heading back out in it again soon, hopefully February half term so ask me again after that and I’ll let you know…

@RoamingRadfords2 жыл бұрын
There’s no option for this from the manufacturer Alistair, in fact I think there’s only about 3 or 4 options you can choose from Swift and they’re relating to the choice of engine and gearbox they build your vehicle on and the tow-bar I believe.

Hi, did you watch the video? There were a few things that were upsetting. The first was our cancelled tour, then next was the price of our campsite, but most importantly was seeing the devastation and aftermath of the war in the early 90s, and drawing parallels to current world situations.
