Retired nurse, 44 years. Assisting on abscesses in every area you can imagine: my favorite. People are in such pain, and just releasing that pocket of pus, gives them such relief. Of course, there’s lots more involved such as packing and antibiotics but so many didn’t want to help because of the sights and smells. I’m your girl for gross……it brings such immediate relief. Why I love your channel. Palpable how much you care about our four footed friends. 💙

I was able to help my mother and big sister in their last days with cancer, became guardian for my younger siblings after the death of their mom/ our dad earlier, and primary care giver to my grandson going on 8 years. Never really had an outside career, yet I was so blessed. Now, while still taking care of my grandson, my days are spent with my chickens, my garden, and 20 hour a week pizza prepping job. God has been very good to me! I love the care you give to those beautiful living creations. God bless!

I followed the traditional path of a high-achieving student: I went off to a 4-year liberal arts school (studied technical theater), developed a second anxiety disorder, didn't finish my degree, moved back in with my parents, and alternated between minimum-wage jobs and unemployment, all the while feeling like I'd let everyone down. Classic! Through trial and error, I eventually chose to go to a respiratory therapy program at the local community college. I graduated at age 30 with an associate's degree. Now I love my work and make a great income. I'm still with my parents but I'm saving up quickly to buy a home. I'm thinking about medical school someday, but my first priories are buying a home and paying off $23k in loans from my first try at college, then getting my bachelor's degree. Once I've got the bachelor's, I'll have options like medical school, physician assistant school, and advanced practice respiratory school. Finances first though. I have a lot more peace now that I've got enough money that I don't have to worry constantly, and I'm excited to be working towards long-term financial stability.

I'm only stating what I made to show that it's very possible for dream come trues! I had a lot of legal issues and drug problems and even with my background check they gave me a chance because of my resume. Just like you now I have no money problems and for once have my own place and a lot in my bank account. I am so grateful! Congrats to you too! Sorry if I seemed douchey to anyone I'm just trying to show my story to help motivate people as I would've never even applied for this job if I hadn't read some comments myself and got motivated.

I seriously thought something was wrong with this cow's stifle or hock when she walked in, and watching her walk out and bending her joints and putting weight on the foot more confidently with each step brought back so many memories. I used to work with horses, and it never ceased to amaze me how an abscess could have us all convinced the horse's leg was broken. Then a visit from the vet and farrier, a popped puss pocket, and some TLC had them back to work. So glad that's what it was!

I then went on to become an ICD-9 coder (medical coding for diseases and medical procedures) for a home health agency then went into health insurance first as a customer rep then onto enrollment and insurance verification. As for this cow, I was so happy to see the pus squirting out because I knew you would be able to help her after your initial thought that maybe you wouldn't be able to relieve her discomfort. Was never so happy to see drainage squirting out of a hoof as I was with this one. I'll bet the cow was pretty happy also.

Love that chia pet hair style! So pleased to see you made a massive difference to that cow’s comfort. It’s hard to watch when they are limping so badly. But once again, a few minutes, a careful trim and a little GP magic save the day! 🐄🖤

I think his " The hair's back " comment came because in one of his last videos where he was mentioning that if someone wanted for him to make a video of the inside of the farm , to mention it in the comments , so as a cute joke I commented " We would like to see a video of you in a barber shop getting a nice haircut like you used to have " lol. I think he read the comment , and thus his counter comment at the start of this video. He shouldn't take the opinions to heart so much , but in all honesty , he looks really nice with the short haircut he had some time ago in his earlier vids .

I studied English and Theatre in college, then worked a couple of years as a creative writer and director for an online training company, then worked as a banker for almost 19 years while helping on the family farm and ranch. In my early twenties I was married with two kids.i wanted to go to nursing school but my husband didn't want to waist his money because he didn't think that I was smart enough to graduate. Fast forward to a divorce and ten years later I met a woman that believed in me and helped me get enrolled in school and graduate. I was a nurse for 20 years until I had to retire for medical reasons. It was the best job I ever had and I miss it every day.

I went to college to study to become a Veterinary Technician and 12 years later I am a Registered Veterinary Technician. I was happiest when I worked in specialty vs general medicine. And even happier before college when I worked with horses and actually wanted to become a farrier but my horses farrier told me not to because it leads to bad backs... well, I've had 4 spinal surgeries anyways. So.... I love seeing you do what you love and are passionate about and care so much about making these cows and bulls pain free. I wish I was in Scotland. I'd love to apprentice and go off for training, I'm so tired of being stuck indoor. I miss working on farms.

My childhood dream was to become a fighter pilot. As a teenager I chose to "go down a dark path". When I turned 18 I got sober and followed in my father and grandfather's footsteps by becoming an electrician. So here I am, almost 40 and continue to do primarily residential electrical (but dabble in everything except for plumbing). I am very happy with my choice to this day and really can't imagine doing/ being anything else.

Great job again. I've always loved your opening song and especially enjoy seeing the aerial views of you driving through the stunning countryside. I'm quite envious of where you live. I'm sure most of those farms have been passed down through the generations. I even love the beautiful stone walls along the roads. Farmers spent many backbreaking days tilling their fields and stacking those rocks. Many of us take the many hidden things for granted. No I'm not now nor have ever been a farmer. But I've always had great respect for them and the many sacrifices they make and hardships they face on a daily basis. May God bless the farmers around the world. Thankyou Graham for sharing this part of your daily life.
