Graeme, I think Bruised Soul/Sole is a brilliant title! The second you said it, I got the play on words. Many of us had "not great" childhoods for various reasons, but if we had not gone through what we did, we would not be the people we are today. You became a fine young lad - a wonderful husband and father, brother in law, community supporter, and a terrific hoof trimmer helping folks all over the world learn better care for the cows. And yet ... still humble. Keep up the great work you are doing for others to thrive. ❤

I like Brusied Sole as the title and the play one words linking back to the journy and past. I think you could make a great cover with that title and a picture combining a cows hoof and a person that convays both the menings and makes it clear what the book is about.. Im thinking of a picture of a cows hoof, with the brusing in the shape of a young boy looking lost / hurting.

Having watched you for always, my perception of you is that , like me, and many others, you survived your childhood but you managed to keep a good heart and joy in your life. It’s what makes you so personable and such a favorite. You make other people, like me, feel good . Because of you I’m watching videos about cow feet. I’m an old woman living in Brooklyn, ny. The closest I come to a cow is breakfast and dinner ( sometimes ice cream). “Surviving a Bruised Soul” because you have and because you are loved by strangers.

I definitely understand you wanting to call your book Bruised Soul, and yes, I definitely got the play on words! As a fellow writer, the only advice I can give you on your perspective book title is this: when you have the write title, you will know it. It will resonate with every part of you. Also, just one word of general advice: Be proud of your accomplishments! It's true, that having a less than stellar childhood can be daunting, and sometimes a hit to your heart or self-esteem (I know this, because my childhood was also less than stellar), but always remember, your childhood DOES NOT dictate your future. You rose above that childhood, you have a fantastic business, you are highly regarded in your area of expertise (hoof trimming), you have a beautiful family, and you are well loved throughout the community! You have done well for yourself and don't forget that!

Couldn’t agree with this comment more. You would never even know you had a difficult childhood because you are so well adjusted and have accomplished so much, and so young so kudos to you. You have a lot to be proud of and I love watching your videos. So that’s all I meant in my earlier comment, which I admit was pretty blunt (sorry about that, I wrote it in a hurry). So even though I think Bruised Sole/ Soul is a brilliant idea, I thought a title maybe focusing more on that positive strength you’ve developed in spite of your childhood ordeals might be more inspiring? Anyway, I’m sure whatever you do end up deciding to call it, it’ll be a great read… it has to be if it’s about our beloved Hoof GP!

Isn't it bizarre how he can make people fascinated with cow's feet? I'm a quilter who does live on a farm in eastern Washington...while I did have a horse, and we did raise a couple of steers for the freezer, I'd get the farrier for my horse, never even thought of the steers' feet!! All the events of our past make us who we are today. We either give up and contribute nothing to the world or we use the pains of our past to create a better future for ourselves. Graeme is certainly loved by many around the world!! Hope Craig gets better soon!

In the context of this saying, to ‘behold’ something is to see it. The ‘beholder’ is the person doing the seeing. The concept is not everyone will see the same thing in the same way; so while I may not think Craig is beautiful, someone will, hence “in the eyes of the beholder”.

Might I suggest, 'A Healing Soul' or 'The Healing Of A Soul'? I can sooo relate! I even speny my early chidhood living on part ofvmy grandpa's dairy farm in Connecticut. Cannot wait for your book launch and be available in the US. You are such a fantastic person, so I know how much work you have put into your healing processes.
