Arab ambassadors in China have met with the Chinese foreign minister over the situation in Syria. Similar to the advice given to the Palestinian factions in Beijing in July, they have been told to identify their strategic plans, forge unity to create a viable government in Syria to bring them about. Hopefully, the majority Sunni Muslims in Syria, backed by Sunni countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt would be able to form such a government. The strategic plans would include taking over Iranian role in defending Palestinians against Israeli atrocities, establishment of Palestinian statehood, recovery of oilfields controlled by the Americans by making deals with the Kurds minority.

I stumbled over your comment and just would like to remind you: don't be so laid-back. In the "old" days we were educated by my parents (in Switzerland) that "if a sack of rice keels over in China it affects us in Switzerland too". Don't be so sure that you don't have to deal with the dire consequences which most probably will come out of this Western/Israeli coup in a once secular country.
