In my life Women would leave me for another guy and then months later they would come back looking for me only to find that I was no longer interested. I had one call me two months into her new marriage I had not clue what to do the several years later we talked on the phone and she said I was the only person who understood her. That means that the women were never really into you, or were at first but then quickly figured out they didn't want you. You are what psychologists call "the safe guy". Women are hypergamous by nature, meaning they're always looking for a higher status guy. The problem with that is, they can't do that while also being in a relationship. So they find a guy they know they can lead on, gaslight, and manipulate you for resources until she finds the better guy she wants to try her luck with. Problem is... Women know that if they fail with the new guy, they won't have him or you either. So that's why they choose "the safe guy".
