They're involved with great games. I want them to succeed. It would not take much to set this game off (Events, DLC, battle pass for cosmetics, etc). If they had stuck with the Camp Blood concept, F13 would have been one of the greatest games of all time.

We need a mature team that understands it’s core, understands what the players want to see and what will keep the game engaging with the player. Adding more modes, more ideas and even more custom options. And also, no team that’s working with sweet baby Inc. I’m telling you now, the game will die quicker then fire on ice. Also I’m not worried too much, as we’ve seen what we’ll be getting in the future. Gun knows what we want and what they want, they just need to play their cards right. It's probably a case of The big team who created the entire game (Sumo) is no longer needed since from here on it's just dlc development and maintenance. It's always been a thing to lay off large parts of the big team who made a game from scratch. Perhaps Sumo wants to stay together so they move away rather than being split up? Could be they did such an agreement with Gun years ago. Anyways, if 6 months from now there is no more dlc and/or maintenance then it's probably bad news.

Both parties are at fault in many aspects to the game, but I'm grateful for them both coming together and making this game a reality. Sumo has created a great game that is a breath of fresh air for the A symmetrical genre, I hope the new team can take this creation and run with it. Hopefully GUN has somebody in mind. I hope they're bringing people that can keep up with the fast pace of todays gaming world of content. 10 years ago their pace would have been okay but not today. I personally think they should've had 5-7 maps designed and ready to drop 1 by 1 every few weeks before the game even went live. Having only 3 maps for months was kinda brutal.

Props to Sumo for the spectacular base they made with TCM. I’m optimistic that the new dev team will have the necessary resources to continue the fixes, changes, and updates for TCM and perhaps allow it to prosper because of this change. I just hope this content drought since the Nancy and Danny release was a result of this dev change and that there won’t be as bad of a drought following this 90 day window.

I actually think it's a good thing sumo is out now. Don't get me wrong sumo is a talented studio but when it comes to managing a live service game they fail best example hood: outlaw and legends. Swapping developers probably means switching to maintenance mode. Edit: I'd like to add that the publisher saying "This doesn't change anything" doesn't mean anything as they wouldn't want people to drop the game knowing it's lifespan is coming to an end. It's why valve has never said tf2 isn't getting any more major content but we all know it isn't.

The problem is you have a game that doesn’t know what it wants to be. It’s too difficult for casual players so they quit and move on. It’s not grindy enough for basement dwellers and horror fans. It was and still is doomed to fail because it doesn’t cater to either group which you need to capture to be successful and stay profitable.

Friday The 13 The Game, Part 2, anyone who went through that whole three year debacle knew the same would happen with TCM, I think the only thing that made F13 fun at all after the first 6 months was literally anticipating but having no idea how the game was going to break this time when you logged in (if you could even log in at all.... anyone remember the 'user database error' period?), I refuse to buy anything Gun does every again, Illfonic / Black Tower / Sumo / Whoever, Gun has an on paper trail of blame shifting and throwing their collaborators / devs under the bus for their lack of proper management, zero transparency and general disregard for the community after the first initial quarter after the launch of a new title. Gun is the publisher at the end of the day, and they are responsible for tracking, management of bugs and communication with devs and community, and the image of the game based on how it is performing and if content / fixes they promise as a publisher are not only addressed, but also delivered in a timely fashion and with a minimal level of professionalism along with integrity for the product. In case you're reading this and you don't understand anything I said above or what's happening right now, this game is heading to maintenance mode and will be EOL steadfast, same thing that happened with F13 (And don't bring up that lawsuit bs which is nothing more than a blatant uneducated cope out at this point, they knew way ahead of time, and it's been beaten to death at this point and covered in every single way and angle imaginable) when it experienced a slow and agonizingly aggravating death from zero transparency outside of the IP dispute between Miller and Horror Inc. Basically... F them.

Game is not dead at all what happens is is you have players that are inpatient can’t wait for the game to start. Then you got players that when they get an invite they leave the lobby and make them patient players pissed off and then they leave. Also, do you have the bullies and you also have the repetitive part of the game where it’s the same thing over and over and over and over and over. It’s a game it’s new and hopefully more stuff comes with it how you like it or not killer clown comes out it’s gonna be the same thing many exits 3 to 4 and doing the same thing different paths. Another idea they could do is offer a single player/bot option. You start a game and play with/against the game itself. Same thing, the map and selected characters are just random. Bot survival and kills is random, maybe even difficulty levels with the bots, the higher the difficulty the better the family and victims.
