Your advices are amazing! I improve my pace from 1:45 to 1:20 on 100m. A lot of trainings but my knowledge is much better now. You are doing great job. Best wishes from Poland!!!

Another great video thank you. I'd gladly contact you if I lived in the UK. It's amazing what a knowledgeable coach like you can do for one's technique. Greetings from Spain

I just watched this last night, and always wondered why I could do no more than 4-5 freestyle laps (25m Pool) without getting winded...I self taught how to swim...I put this into practice at the pool this morning and did 56 laps in 50 minutes...not spectacular but to go from 4-5 to 56 is amazing to me.

Yes reiterating others here, your biomechanical explanation is easily followed Einstein said if you can't explain something simply then you don't understand it

Noticing the swimmer's lower back arch, @SwimCycleRunCoach would you advise to intentionally tilt the pelvis and contract the abs to flaten that arch or does the elongated reach for the catch naturally does this job ? How to keep that flat aligned back ? So thankful for the quality of the videos. Would be amazing to swim under your supervision some day.

The more relaxed and neutral you are when you swim the better, so forcing a position would lead to tension and poorer alignment. It's as if you're standing relaxed with your shoulders having no tension. If your back is excessively curved in that position then you may need exercises to correct a misalignment.
