What I can add to this is that if you live in a small place and dont't have access to a good coach just ask someone to film you while you swim and coach yourself! But you have first to SEE yourself in order to start correcting things.

This video was very helpful. When I used to take swimming lessons few years ago, I was told to pull my arm like S shape. Now I see more videos on high elbow catch, kind of a confusing for me but I want to try that. Also when I m in the pool swimming, other people go zoom past me swimming the same but they’re fast and I m not. Don’t know what am I doing wrong, not sure if my techniques need changing etc. Any help appreciated, please advise. Thanks in advance.

At this point, swimming once a week, I average 1:30 to 1:37 per 100m in training. Should swim more really but time dictates otherwise.
