He was always a Top 10 TE for a while but could never reach that top 5 top 3. He lit it up in NE. He also has a ring. He played for along ass time too. He shouldn't be here but you don't play as long as he did if you ain't that good. 2004-2019 16 years is a long ass time man. Also what he did off the field is nothing short of excellent. One of my favorite positions to watch outside of RB of course. Even though I wasn't around or was too young to have watched Kellen Winslow on TV, definitely got to respect how he played the game. I too noticed Shannon trying to take over hosting duties from Tony, still competing like they are back in the AFC West. Antonio Gates is a great story as well, coming from playing basketball to one of the greats at his position. Obviously mad respect for the now number 3 all time leading receiver (and from the TE position) in Tony G. Sharpe was good for some sound bites, but backed it up. I have a ton of RESPECT for Ben Watson as an all around individual, even though his numbers are not where the others are at, he is solid and dependable. But BY FAR his most important attribute is his FAITH and what he has done with the platform that God gave him. I am glad that they mentioned my favorite Cowboys player of All Time in Mr. Consistent Jason Witten, even if they didn't all elaborate on him. People get so caught up on who wasn't there and digging on Watson, but they should realize that some of the players they wanted didn't have an open spot in their schedule or just didn't want to be there. I have watched the WR one and there was only 4: Steve Largent, Steve Smith, Michael Irvin, and of course the GOAT of GOATs in Jerry Rice. No Chris Carter, Tim Brown, Randy Moss, Lynn Swann, etc... Still cool to watch them come together and reflect.

New England was asked to send a TE instead of Gronkowski to the show table and they did :) That would have sent Aaron Hernandez but he went MIA.

Ben Watson made the best play I seen on an interception ever! He never quit and caught a faster guy from behind before he could score! He must have ran the fastest I ever seen for a big guy!

He was also coming from the opposite side too

Can’t wait to see Travis kelce, Zach ertz & George kittle & Gronk at this table
@sergeontheloose4 жыл бұрын
They should be there soon. TE is the position that is now evolving.

Kelce and Kittle. Ertz ain't a HoFer with those two still playing. Gronk is the GOAT TE for me

Witten is still playing so I think that’s why he isn’t on here and Watson is definately better at speaking than someone like Gronk and I don’t think Mike Ditka is still like capable or sumn

Watson is more of a man than any of those others sitting at the table. Great player and a great person of character.
