Excellent video and key concepts covered in a balanced way. Everyone should think of these ideas before even thinking of thinking they are capable of raising a child.

Very nice Psychoanalytical discussion around Winnicot. Stage of ruth, concern and role of Impingement, have been nicely illustrated. Please make a full video on Winnicot. Thanks😊❤

Mark, I am deeply inspired by your work. Any chance that you'll download these to be in podcast format? It's challenging to just sit and watch KZbin videos, but if you have no plans of making your solo material a podcast then I'll certainly rise to the challenge. Either way, thank you for your amazing work. It's criminally underrated.

Thanks Mark for this excellent intro to Winnacott - who I was not aware of. Very clear and accessible presentation; which makes it easy to take Winnacott's analysis into everyday life and work. As a result of this I will be making some tweaks to a PowerPoint the boys at my school will be using next week. Keep these vids coming!

I like the comparison to religious objects! I very strongly believe we need to approach our symbols with empathy and intention. We're far to caught up in whether religious practices are "true" or "not."

Which thinker said the true self is the non-physical mother who we are still attached to with a non-physical umbilical cord?
@rosalindfitch-mayo69082 жыл бұрын
FOR WINNICOTT THERE WAS NO 'PARENTS- ONLY THE MOTHER - FATHERS DO NOT COM EINTO HIS SCHEME. THE CONCEPT OF THE TRUE SELF IN ESSENTIALIST AND YOU SEEM TO BE TRYING TO DEFINE WHAT HE DOES NOT EXCEPT THAT IT IS ALWAYS HIDDEN- I AM NOT SURE AT ALL THAT HE DID AGREE A LOT WITH JUNG AS YOU KEEP SUGGESTING
