I was about to buy a big muff and a fuzz factory until I saw this video. Such a sick fuzz. Do you know if the tone varies with the different paint jobs? Seems like a stupid question but a lot of boutique companies vary totally based on what parts they can get at the time.

This is the original Shoe Gazer pedal. ONE circuit. Not a Torn's Peaker and a Soda Meiser. This pedal evolved into the two circuit pedal for more versatility later on.

It's still a TP and an SM.... you just can't run the SM on It's own.

@@IamtheWV17 Not according to Izzi "Thinking back to it though, the ones you were specifically pointing out that didn't have each side labeled as their specific pedals were probably the earliest versions, and were wired such that the right side only came on as a "second mode" rather than them being individual pedals in one box. Yeah, you can see in this video the second fuzz was a second mode INSTEAD of the way they are wired now as being two small pedals in one enclosure. I eventually changed it to the current setup so there could be more versatility." P.S. Not trying to be "That guy" but I asked Izzi about it before picking one up on Reverb back in November.

@Randy Hollandsworth I can be 'that guy' if you would like. The circuits are still a TP and SM even when labelled in the old way (I own one). It's just that the SM cannot be used on it's own. But if you have an old style one you should actually be able to mod the switching to function like the latter version.

@Randy Hollandsworth They don't.... that's how it was always sold. You're misunderstanding that quote you provided. This difference in wiring is in the switches, not the fuzz circuits.
