In the game when you hit with a sword, you can do a 1 second pause for a million stab combo and a shorter pause for swinging your sword in an x shape combo

I know this walkthrough was a few years ago but if you click in the right analog stick when your not locked on to the enemy you can switch between the sword and the fist weapons. Great walkthrough by the way nonetheless.
