-almost perfect use of royal guard -fast shooting with the shotgun (guard + shot) -the beowulf jump skill that needs to be timed (not hard to master but still) -the use of demon explosion in demon mode -and also using the demon mode to run fast. I'm always amazed at how little understanding there is for speedrunning even now. There ARE DMD speedruns that are amazing to watch, but the strategies in those are completely different from the ones in the new game speedrun. and yeah, speedruns often make a game look silly. because they're entirely based on beating the game as fast as possible. Dont like this category? guess what? theres plenty more that fill what you're looking for.

He is not a noob you can see it after him doing the royal realese. He needs to know the behavior Of every enemy and boss, needs to know all the levels. This dude is still getting S ranks at the end of a mission. I'm sure if he played any other difficulty he will still get S ranks. No need to insult the guy.

equip the royal guard style and cancel the finishing hit of dante’s 3-hit basic combo. if you did it successfully dante can do and infinite string of sword hits, stacking hella dmg. and yes it’s also viable on DMD

It's not modding. That isn't Cross Slash, that is A&R's normal air attack. The surf is not a Gunslinger exclusive move, you can do it with any Style. The rapid fire is achieved with Guard cancelling.

It's DTE(Devil Trigger Explosion). You need to hold the Devil Trigger button, then let's say you already have all the 10 bubbles, if all of the bubbles is glowing, then release the DT button around enemies. You will do massive AOE damage. Very useful in harder difficulties...

I don't actually speedrun this game but I know that in that short segment between the bar and cerberus battle you can get a good stinger launch off that rock platform to the left right before the statue. Maybe it could optimize you for .5 seconds or something lol. I believe that you have to start the stinger aiming for that ramp before the camera angle changes.
