this fight took me a month, not because that’s how long i took to constantly go at it and retry, but after fighting him for the first couple times and stopping after an hour, i became frightened of the fight and stopped playing for a whole month. this is the first and only boss fight ive ever done that actually scared the shit out of me

This game was my childhood. (Shoutouts, Uncle Aris - AvoidingThePuddle) It came out around the time that God of War came out. At the time, God of War was just more fun to a teenager. But that brotherly rivalry is unmatched in storytelling. After all these years, Dante and Vergil's story is the most memorable and impactful story out of all the video games I've played in my life. DMC3 was too epic in scope of story.

I never see any videos of dmc3. But I never thought, the 3 game even more dynamic than the 4 game. Like, wow, the whole battle is crazy! So many actions in one second! The Only thing, what I noticed, it is the 3d game still have a bit less variety of different effective attaks. Like, if he uses time attack, you use the guitar - because it is the most effective attack to counter it. Watching donguri dmc4 videos, I'm not notice such thing. But I may be wrong

On DmD difficulty, enemies have way more stun resistance, and you also can't juggle Vergil so no aerial combos, making the fight extremely unforgiving and removing half of the moveset variety, that's probably why you feel dmc 3 to have less effective moves

Not a mod. The switch version of DMC3 has style switching built in from the start, though I believe it's a toggle like turbo mode

当時は一つのスタイルを駆使して攻略するみたいなところあったから、 ４（５）のスタイルチェンジを３でやったら、雑魚戦とか一部のボスがメッチャヌルゲーと化してそう。 やろうかな、swich版。 （いちおうMISSION+BP全クリ済。オールSSできたのはVHDまでだったな…。 　DMDはヒィヒィ言いながらクリアしたな。）

Capcom pls remake dmc 3 and make new story after dmc 3 (dmc 5 is total bullshit: new hero (alternate Vergil) is bullshit, Nero's mecha-arm is bullshit, enemy-cockroaches is bullshit, Vergil's talk is bullshit (in dmc 3 he's motivation was not stupid), dmc's 5 end - Vergil "okey, lets close what i open" is bullshit, dmc's 5 locations is bullshit, idea to break Dante sword is bullshit, smoking Niko is bullshit, give me my Lady, dmc 5 music (not Storm) and children's pictures with graphite-monkeysis in the menu is bullshit). No official explanation exist. Headcanon of many fans is that since almost all of Dante's weapons are demonic/magic in nature, he simply summons them into battle. But the truth is... just like any other videogame character, his pockets are infinite in size 😂
