Just a heads up for anyone who doesn't know this(info was new to me aswell a few weeks ago), this is no longer the correct order. DMC2 takes place after 1 and before 4 so now it's 3, 1, 2, 4, and 5. While some of it doesn't fit perfectly I do think from a story perspective it was a good choice and explains why Dante is the way he is in this, or it does for me atleast.
