Probably more sharp and overall quicker. In og re4 as soon as the input stops the character stops, in the remake the characters move more like real people so when you change the input characters need some time to stop or change directions. I don’t agree with this criticism as I don’t think it’s objectively bad, it’s just a preference for games that feel more “gamey”. On the other hand the issue with the shooting I think is more objective. If I remember correctly the problem is that guns in the remake don’t shoot straight, instead they shoot in a random pattern inside of the crosshair. This is meant to incentivise people to stand still when aiming (because the crosshair narrows), but the issue is that you can miss a shot even standing perfectly still through no fault of your own. I think it would have been better to make guns just shoot straight and have the crosshair there just as a point of reference, so that you still incentivise people for stopping before aiming, but you also don’t penalize people that want to shoot while moving
