Devils Pool experience, Victoria Falls, Livingstone, Zambia

The infamous Devils Pool, "The Smoke that Thunders", where you get to hang off the edge of a waterfall.
From the boat ride, the hike, the swim to the island, even those little fish nibbling at our legs under water.
On the Zambia side of the Victoria Falls, with a glimpse from the Zimbabwe side. Only possible during the low season of the Zambezi river.
Filmed (mostly) with my Go Pro for that first person POV experience, Including the view Hanging over the falls. The travel guides do use our own personal phones for the photos and videos of us as we dangle.

Great video! I am going to Cape Town in mid May. I am seriously considering going to Victoria Falls...If I'd go I would definitely go to Devil's Pool! One question, the swim to the island, do you have to worry about crocodiles? 😬

You don't have to worry about crocodiles. There were tiny fish nibbling on our legs that were more nuisance than concern. The Devil's Pool may not be available in May, due to rainfall and seasonal changes. The Angel's Pool is a similar, alternate option also on the falls, along with the river rafting, bungee-jumping, safaris, zip-lining and other adventures.

True but take a look at Niagara Falls and how it has gradually eroded back over the years.....Vicgtoria Falls is doing the same...and that stone ledge is doomed to fall away.
