Devilution X Explained A Must Try Classic Diablo Mod

This is actually a entire open source reconstruction of the Diablo engine. So other mods can be made using it. It introduced optional quality of life changes, which are awesome. I enjoy especially to be able to increase the speed (normally play at max). I really like that they preserve the original game as much as possible. Edit: and it runs on mobile also

I was the one that recommended pumping all your points in Dexterity for the Rogue; of course I saw this strat in another video on KZbin. Glad you are enjoying this build, it is super effective and makes the game a breeze. As for the DevilutionX mod, it is a blessing. I installed it recently and I am never going back to vanilla Diablo again. It offers so many QoL improvements, while retaining the feel of the original game, unlike Belzebub and Hell mods which add so many different features.

Thanks for the nice video. Glad you are feeling better. P.s. The stats like to-hit actually aren't changed compared to the original, it's just that the original didn't show the real number in the panel.

I only recently discovered Devolution, I was playing on Original Disk that had no problems with compatibility mode until recently. Can you still duplicate items with the DevilutionX ?

The dupe feature has been removed from devilution x due to (this is only my guess) somewhat increased chance of finding uniques and the stash tab added. But devilutionX in their notes wrote they removed the bug, cause originally its a glitch.

Your resolution is 1280x800 (800p) Btw not 800x600 but 800x640 (640p) Devilutionx its not a mod but port that let You to run the game on mobile phone or pc.

@@khatagi3090 its a mod…. Devilutionx is a mod that lets u run diablo on modern operating systems. What you guys really mean is that its a open source mod, meaning that people can grab the source code and use it freely. Meaning they can inject modifications to the original source code. That it runs in multiple systems doesnt make it a port at which case DOLPHIN emulator would be a port too but its an emulator… im gonna make more videos on it since this was just the kickstart, and i forgot to mention the online feature this has and clarify once and for all this is still a mod that can be used in multiple systems just like dolphin
