My friend my entire life has been shaped by the Metal scene, age 7 I became a Guns N Roses fan , I was lucky to have an older Brother who spent all his money on Metal CD's . The true Metal scene has something no other music genres have , Metal heads follow their beloved bands around the world , we buy their music , we wear their names on our clothing. This music scene saved me from many foolish decisions & also healed many broken hearts. Pearl Jam to Sepultura I loved it all . Strapping young Lad are also the most powerful band I've ever seen live , at Download 2006 they wobbled my intestines , I've endured Slayer mosh pits , lost a shoe in a Pantera crowd surf , but still nobody fucked me up more than Strapping young Lad. God Bless Brother , You are not alone
