That kind of songs makes me get bored much more often by classic rock, hevie metal... whatever songs. I've only recently stumbled upon Devin. And just recently I got to see his live acoustic performance and I was literally smiling the entire performance. The man has a set of lungs and a incredible voice. I wish I could go back to it again. Empath has been my go to album to listen to for the last like 3 weeks. This song makes you feel everything, well for me it did. Especially the last section of the song "Here Comes The Sun". But just in general, the entire album is just a masterpiece and I'm so glad he released it.

This is absolutely brilliant album, a real grower, as you said. But I often find the best music a bit hard to open, to grow in. The light pop songs hit you instantly, but you get bored with them very fast. The best music gives you every time something new. You can't really get bored with it. You'll grow a need to hear more. I don't think I've ever felt like that about a catchy pop song, "Oh, I gotta hear more of this!" No, not really. I went to Steve Hackett's Genesis Revisited gig last night and it was brilliant, though I've never listened to Hackett's solo material, which filled the first part of the gig. And then the second part was a blast of Gabriel era Genesis, to which I haven't got bored to in over a 30 years of listening of it. But about Singularity and the whole Empath album, I'm sure this will stand time the same way. So I'll be a pain in the a**e prog fart in the rest home for elderly! :oD
