I love your style, etiquette, strength, mindset, and really everything about you. You're such an integral part of the sport and I'm glad to see your passion through every meetup and youtube video you provide us :) I'm just curious though, when you beat pushkar,Todd, and Bagent through the years of 2006-2013, how do you compare yourself now to then in terms of strength. I know you switch your routine up regularly but I wasn't sure if you still did any similar lifts or have a different metric you can use to compare your strengths. I know you used to do some crazy weight with the 200lb+ dumbbells where you would hold them and get a crazy eccentric lift. Those matches were so amazing I'd love to hear how you rate yourself from now vs. then if you do any of the same lifts. Much love, stay safe and rona free

Concerning the wrap on the rising lift: I started doing 2 different wraps for this lift and it has helped me alot. Relative to an actual match, your wrap would be the equivalent of facing another toproller, going for rising and deep backpressure through the hand at the start. But often your opponents fingers wont pressure your fingers, they will be place on the ridge between your thumb and your wrist. So you should wrap so that the main pressure is exactly there. Because thats actually where you will be pulling from, when rising in an actual match. The back ridge of your thumb, not the fingers. I cant explain my wrap in words but I can say that the lift become more challenging, and I am finally feeling sore again from doing this lift.

Mr. Larratt- thanks for all the great videos. I stumbled onto your videos by looking for grip strength work. I then began watching armwrestling and became a fan. If you have time to answer I have a few questions for you. I've struggled for years with tennis and golfers elbow. I've been doing the rising and pronation work like you show here that I learned from you awhile back. I use resistance bands and my cable set up. I've been doing higher reps only and building up slow with reps between 15-30 per set. For someone that doesn't plan on arm wrestling regularly would you suggest just staying with higher reps or hitting more lower rep work? I had thought about using the statics for the real power work instead of doing reps. I know thats a lot but I'd like to hear your ideas for folks that want to get the growth and power using these but avoiding old nagging injuries. Thanks for your time and any input.

Been working out ever since I lost 3 fingers in an explosion at 13 years old (40+ years now)...I tried an arm wrestling match for the hell of it about 35 years ago in West Virginia thinking I might could do well...I was flash pinned 🙃 and never went back to it...just about 8 months ago I noticed the physiques of arm wrestlers being similar to some body builders...then i started training with a focus on the forearms and biceps and wrist...I made gains in weight loss and increased my overall strength...arm wrestling definitely is intense sport that I compare to human strength drag racing...a person basically goes all out for an average of about 10-20 seconds it seems...very cool stuff you guys go through to compete at a high level...rock on🤟

A weighted kettleball is another alternative to the last one he said too putting a weighted kettleball on a flat surface facing sideways and rotating it slowly from side to side. Pronation for toproll. On the first workout using a dumbell will work to for the meantime. But I'm not going against his strap idea this is just in case you don't have access to a strap for now. You can use gym equipment till you get the strap. This dude is a legend.

To be more serious and frank: had you asked about Olympic Weightlifting, then 30 would have been too late, but arm wrestling? Tim Bresnan actually started 10 years later than you could, and he's one of the most known arm wrestlers in the world.

I found your video after searching working outs for arm wrestling. I’m having to go back into the office; so to break the monotony of office politics I challenge some one to an arm wrestle. My record is 2-2. The last two opponents were farm strong and the other is a giant at 7 ft tall. Not kidding. Well anyway. Now that I felt how strong these two were they didn’t use any techniques. So I’m going to Re challenge them after a while after using your techniques and strengthening knowledge. Thanks again

I know you might think I’m crazy for asking you a question about golf Devin….but here goes. I’ve had golfers elbow for 6 months. I did not know much about the muscles of the forearm until my injury. Pretty disappointed about the injury. I’m 55 years old and got my swing speed up To 122 mph. 180 ball speed. Just destroying the golf ball. And then the injury happened. I’ve tried all sorts of things. The weird thing is that initially when I started with sone of the forearm training, my speed jumped big time. Like 10 mph all clubs. That’s when I finally hit 180. There was some discomfort but manageable. Then my pronate terres got injured and could no longer swing. I’ve been working with a hammer, doing probation exercises. I’m Making progress. Hit some balls this weekend. I saw the one exercise that you demonstrated for probator terres but was wondering if you had a series of these types of exercises. I Also believe that there would be no better person on this earth to develop a firearm program for golf. If you could suggest some exercises I’d be appreciative. Your pronator may be the best developed I’ve ever seen, including bodybuilders. I’m a big fan of yours. Just live watching you perform
