It will take a while before John can become competitive for Devon. He's nowhere near him yet. If John can stay healthy and improve his endurance, maybe in 6 to 10 months he could be there. But then again, Devon isn't just laying around waiting for him to be ready. Devon can do what he did with Todd and just become way too big for John.

I do like John's renewed vigor and enthusiasm for the sport. His disinterest or lack of challenge, in my opinion, has been the biggest detriment... the lack of motivation is most everyone's biggest challenge in life. Not sure that he can handle a motivated 300lb-ish Devon... but I'd love to see it!

John would be 58 or 59yo by then I think, so should he even get ranked in the top 8 or top 5 in the world, at that age, it's already yet another unprecedented accomplishment for the man who is without a doubt the greatest ever. To me, just his ability to get back into the world rankings again would be unheard of, and something we might never see again.

John really did the first round try to go through but it failed some just like Devon said. Devon never said he knew what was going to happen he was just throwing predictions I get it though your passionate towards John same way I am towards John I get it lol. The only times Devon was wrong but he wasn't to far off if John hadn't adjusted or powered through giving it all or did certain mistakes he could have got pinned and even lost.
