the per-frame movement is so clever, and having the body parts able to change animations independently makes it look so fluid. really interesting look. its something in-between basic sprites and the fluidity you see in the fake sprite stuff you see in games like dead cells. neat

Sonic is pretty much physics based, momentum managing platformer. If you think that inertia ruins it, and isn't one of the defining features, then take meds, fast. Its like saying that braking ruins need for speed.

really a shame seeing such a cool game like this give up to ai generation on the steam page, heard it had some pretty cool art before so i'm not even sure why they changed it, just takes the opportunity away to put some personality into those places

It's crazy to me how detailed and methodical this game and its gameplay are, but all the promo art is the most generic, uninspired and sexist AI trash ever. It's like two completely different creative visions mushed together.
