i kinda love how the graphics look slightly better than the first, its a realistic improvement in graphics while maintaining the same style and tone, feels like the upgrade is comparable to quake 2 to quake 3 arena's graphics. though a bit more filtered and console-y? its lovely

Looks really good Maybe I'd add some screen shake to firing the pistol through the scope, so it still feels like it has some recoil

If this games was released 20 years ago, I'm sure today everyone would've known about it, it gives some old-masterpiece game vibes. Was wondering if you planned on changing the little health icon since the character has now a different skin colour. Also this level looks very promising and almost ready to be released as the demo one, prolly just needs a little environmental polishing. Good job, keep up the good work!

This looks really cool. I want to ask a couple of questions: Will there be a demo? It seemed to me that the auto-aim for the rocket launcher makes the gameplay with it too easy. Will it be possible to turn off the auto-aim?

yes - in fact you will be one of the dudes who will get it earlier than others 🤫 there is a global auto aim that can be turned off - but not for the rocket launcher - it's really meant to hunt down bosses in the end and these are just small fry (idea is that you would waste your precious ammo using it on them ) after all the secondary fire with the guided part is even easier than auto aim 🤔

Now I understand about the auto-rocket launcher. I remember that in the first game, a regular rocket launcher was one of the main weapons for damaging large enemies. This time, it seems, you will have to eliminate the small ones first, so as not to waste ammunition on them. This can be imagined as an interesting gameplay situation, for example, if the boss is accompanied by some small flying minions, acting as a human shield for him. Perhaps this will be able to alleviate the stress received from the absence of such a reliable and time-tested weapon as a regular rocket launcher :D

yes (well, compared to Zortch 1) the old one is still present: you now have more than one gun per slot 😉

It may be just me, but the gun animations seem more jittery than in Zortch 1.
