Kathak Tutorial Lesson 2 (Devesh Mirchandani)

Kathak Lesson no. 2.. A small correction. the action that I am calling PALAT is not Palat its actually Ardha Aalingan... and with both the hands is Aalingan... Sorry for the wrong info... in the lesson 4 I am saying the write name of that action...

Amazing is the word .. I really appreciate ur effort...never have seen someone explaning and then revising previous lessons. I always have wanted desperately to learn kathak...but my strict family has made sure by every means that I wouldn't dance. I strongly believe that sometimes one is born with instincts those attract to certain activities without even knowing them .. some was the case with me that I was wanted to perform on table at since the age of 6... but unfortunately I was stoped.

Sir ji Pranam, dance meri dream thi, bachpanme main kathak skhikhti thi gharme sabhiko etraj tha mujhe dance chorna para. Aj bis sal bad mere husband ne mujhe meri kathak wapas diya hain, main roz apki dance dekhti hu. Aj mere husband ne mujhe teacher ke pas bharti bhi kara diya hain. Main roz practice karti hoon mujhe pata nehi main kar paungi ki nahi. Bas ashirbad dijiyega. Apse milneki bahut ichhha hain.

Hello devesh ji very well explained. I am trying to learn kathak online because i am in love with this dance for. I am just a beginner. The 13, 14, 15, 16 step was bit tough & fast can you please go slow with it . Although i re ran the 13 ,14,15,16 steps several times. Will catch up soon. Loved your class. Bahut bahut dhanyawad 🙏
