Yeah, I kinda figured someone would have beat me to this punch, but I'd just like to add that, as satisfying as the Something For Everyone album/tour was, I think there was one missed opportunity there - they should have done a new arrangement of this tune that sounds exactly like the Tim Hortons ad that actually played before this video for me - in other words, a jaunty acoustic guitar/tambourine/xylophone shuffle with the lead melody articulated by double-tracked two-octave whisling. I would have lost my fucking shit if they did that.

Found this on Rolling Stone- Bhahahahahaha "When I first wrote it, I sent it to Uganda for [President] Idi Amin to be his new theme song," Mothersbaugh recalls. "It had lyrics like, 'I come down the river to kill many people!' I sent it to him and, of course, I never got any answer back. So we decided that it could be our corporate anthem."

The "egg things" which you are talking about are Mr. Potatohead toys. There is as much released Devo non-music footage as there is music video, and the first time I recall seeing the Potatohead toys was in a General Boy segment (You can find a few videos with him in it on KZbin). The segment starts with him saying "So, you've chosen to attend a devo performance" where he glosses over the the reasons to be careful attending a Devo show. If it was in one of their music videos, I cant recall it.
